Remondis Chemie in Lichtenvoorde is now operating two new DAF XF rigid trucks equipped with a swap system and several new swap bodies. The vehicles have been specially adapted to meet the requirements of the chemical department. This is evident, among other things, from the heavy-duty 3-tonne Dhollandia tail lift, beneath which a remotely controlled VBG drawbar coupling is mounted. On the left side of the chassis, two fire extinguishers are installed in cabinets, along with a water tank with soap dispenser and a dedicated glove storage box. On the right side, three large stainless steel storage boxes have been fitted for various tools, with space above them allocated for a shovel and a broom.
