For two well-known clients, we were able to build several curtain-sided bodies with a Kooi-aap connection.
For Roemaat Transport, it was a complete combination where durability was the top priority. Both the body on the DAF XF rigid truck and the complete body were built in the ESVE workshop. The design took into account the specific requirements of Roemaat, including the ability to quickly swap the carry-deck forklift between the truck and the trailer. To achieve this, the center distances of the fork pockets were kept identical, and the pockets were mounted on the truck chassis. The tarpaulins were also equipped with anti-theft mesh.
For our loyal client Bosman Transport in Gaanderen, we delivered a new curtain-sided trailer. Its design is almost identical to the trailer delivered last year, including a storage space for a pallet truck with extra-long forks (approx. 2 meters) and a stainless steel toolbox. The new trailer is slightly longer and features attractive tarpaulins with Bosman branding.
What both trailers have in common is the careful placement of ballast for the carry-deck forklift and the balanced weight distribution, ensuring that no unnecessary loading volume or payload is lost.
