On behalf of Scania, we have equipped four V8s for Ter Linden (yes, only three are pictured…) with front tow/push bars. This allows these 660 hp powerhouses to position the rear dolly against wind turbine towers on their own. They can also give a colleague at the rear a “push” if needed. Unlike the usual method of attaching the bar to the towing points, these bars have been mounted higher to achieve an optimal coupling height. For this purpose, ESVE developed a special mounting through the grille.
